Yeah he played it a BR, told him should put it out even just for free. Never did tho

twitter and FB feed went mad last night!!
They are in a new venue every other week and some of them have been errrr less than stellar sound. Do need to get rooted in a venue with a big system, I guess something shit must have happened to leave Birthdays
Should just do it in Corsica imo

We just can't find anywhere with a decent sound system tbh so any suggestions welcome! Getting in at Corsica isn't that easy unfortunately

Maybe the location isn't ideal for you but have you checked the Silver Bullet in Finsbury Park? They fitted Void sound recently. Ivy Lab use it for a residency.

Will check that place out thanks.

Its a pain tbh, there are hardly any 250-300 capacity places where we can do a regular thing that have a decent system. Its always a bar with 2 small Funktion 1 stacks and its just not enough.

Yeah I was just walking round smiling, so cool to see that many people dancing to Grime. All the DJs were on top form and I can't wait to do another one

They are pretty insular in terms of bringing in new stuff like that, like they have alot of inhouse promoters or something but yeah Rm2 for boxed was wild.

Yeah that is pretty much it, there's so few venues with the system for it anymore (bass music overall) and the ones that do are seemingly off limits as it were.
Plan B is the best we can get as Converge, unless the supposed silver bullet upgrade to the system is mad, but then yer pretty north London so trade offs in other ways..

Still reeling from not going ffs. On the plus side I can actually remember all of my evening unlike any time ive been to Boxed ever lol. Getting blind drunk and chatting pure rubbish with Loom and E.M.M.A being one example...

Always abit jelly of manchester/bristol promoters doing Boxed nights as there no point in them doing something with us in London

Doesn't so much fit in this thread, but Jam City's new album is amazing.

Yeah, it's the 130 equivalent of the James Blake transformation. Can imagine a lot of folks that liked Classical Curves won't be feeling it, but I really rate it.
