Some of Skream's stuff sounds as if it was made whilst he was trying to pull a cactus out of his arse with his feet.

Im not against commercial sounding tunes, but sometimes it sounds like he's got too much of a game-plan.

Request Line bores me rigid (is that heresy?), for some fucked up reason, I like the Mala remix :?

Be glad there's one place in the world
Where everybody knows your name,
And they're always glad you came;
You want to go where people know,
People are all the same;
You want to go where everybody knows your name.

One thing I will say is that there's a lot of tunes appearing now which just take a dancehall/reggae vocal and stick it on top of a wobbly instrumental which has absolutely nothing to do with the vocal.

Burning sounds like it was made FOR that vocal, not like the vocal was just slapped on top of something else.

I find it quite annoying you decide to "slag" someone off for "no particular reason" cos you're "in a bad mood" ??

Take it somewhere else yeah!!!

As I said...inferiority complex.

Im sure id love to be in his position, what with all the travelling and critical acclaim :wink:.

If I cant vent my pointless opinions on a message board, where can I?

Having said that "Babylon Timewarp" was the first peice of Dubstep I ever heard, ace track...and he still keeps on pulling out the odd rabbit for our listening pleasure :D

absolutely agreed.. that goes for Caspa as well.. just take a sound of kung-fu movie soundtrack and add a bassline..

also I really don't feel some of Kromestar's stuff.. all sounds very similar to me.. on the other hand he does brilliant tracks like 'rainy dayz' 'kalawanji' etc.

What's pointless? This could of been an excellent thread, to get an idea of what people are feeling these days or just as food for thought.
Pride is useless people, clearly we're all banans for dubstep & co. but it doesnt mean we have to pretend we dig every track that gets out there....

I can always respect & appreciate a well produced track....doesnt mean I am feeling it or would jump on it,, even if by my most favoured artist.

I find it quite funny that almost all the actual negativity and hating in this thread is coming from people complaining that it's a negative hating thread and that it keeps getting bumped by people saying how pointless it is.

exactly. weasel even put *no fighting please* in the title, not that anyone has paid any attention to it. why is this thread pointless and whats wrong with saying you don't like a few tunes? i doubt this thread will make kromestar or skream or rusko go hungry....
