well yeah I agree there has been some really shit ones (all the high fashion x uniqlo ones imo) but it works a bit better for shoes, modern designers can take a staple trainer and make it into something new

Uniqlo x Alexandre Plokhov was cool imo although I generally agree

Collabs usually have one of two outcomes. Half the time it looks like they just plastered on two logos instead of one in order to sell units, the other half of the time you can actually see a merging of two different styles. Of course it's hit and miss and a matter of opinion, but so is everything else in fashion
