Ableton not producing sound for midi?

It worked before i updated (accidentally) updated to Windows 8.1. The drivers are all installed, Ableton responds when i hit the keys (i.e the top right square flashes when i press it) but there's just no sound.When i set it up with my keyboard, no sound comes out either.

I think i have everything set up right in ableton, here's a prnt screen anyway Image

any help would be great.

is the track armed that you are trying to play midi from?
