tip off a vst with these attributes

64 bit for mac
strings and brass sounds suitable for grime/bassline etc..


been googling my aass off :(

Try Wallander Instruments - Modelled Virtual Instruments in VST, AU & RTAS Format.

Not sure re; the 64 bit though :?

nexus seems like the go to judged by the sound

imo you dont want a string sound but a 'parody' of a string sound in grime

Man I wish I remembered the name of the synths they used to use. Read about it on here in 07. I'd never heard of them. They were these whack ass rompler kind of things. Looked like fisher price, but it was THE sound, that canned cheezy kind string sound that was the basis of grime.

Sound Fonts is a great suggestion. Cheezier the better.

This is not it, but hypersonic was one from back in the day. Also SampleTank has some cheeze. Looking for workstation type of strings.

Doesn't get much more cheese than some of the early E-Mu romplers.
