Yeah, that seems to be where the used price has settled to. They used to go for like $250! Seems like people have rediscovered them, maybe because of the SoftTube plugin. But I've put music purchases on hold until I finish a house project. ;) Maybe next month

I've seen mono versions go for that price a few years ago. :(

Wow, prices for those have really shot up! I see a few on ebay for over a grand now! At that price, it makes sense to go new 500 series over the vintage units. I used to see them in the $400-$600 range all the time

Those look dope! You waiting for it still or do you have it? How does it sound? It's cool that you can control the Volcas with that.

Probably could be fixed with a firmware update, yeah?

In the process of watching those vids, getting turned on by the Volca Sample again.

Worked the last couple of days with the sample. I don't know, do you want a $150 SP-1200? Epic mu ha ha.

Instant beats and tripped out smokey/grainy sound design. Deep dark distorted spaces. For my tastes at least. It can get clicky too, for that GayRaj.

I'm down. I've been happy with the Beats because I've been wanting an analog drum machine. I think the Sample is the next one to go for, it just sounds funky.
