In the UK we're lucky that each generation's had a healthy scene of its own.
For me I started out on Dub/HipHop/New wave, 10 years later house & drum n bass, now its the dubstep. I knew at 14 what I was going to do & that I liked - Bass really! It should be encouraged getting all ages involved in a scene to keep it strong and to pass on some knowledge of where it comes from, too. D n B got a bit boring cos of all the same names all the time?

No problems what so ever with the music. I do find the whole "new beat by 12/13 year old" in the dubs section a little distracting though. No need really. I think it warps the way people veiw the track/tracks in one way or another.

Seems a bit irrelevant if the kid is 13 his production skills are better than half the shit that actually gets released.

Year that did need making clear when your talking about people who are reading the thread. I've played some nights where I'm probably 10 years senior most the people I'm playing to - just makes me feel old.

Just so you know.

I'm not just Grime.
I will do any genre I feel I like.

Hiphop / Grime / DUBSTEP

Whats so bad about Grime?
Its just dubstep without a bass and a less advanced drumline

And in my case more melody

Dubzy I can't see in any way at all how you can object to a song based on the age of the producer? As boom said it's all music and shouldn't be judged on other factors - especially something as trivial as age. I understand why - but it's a shame that lots of people interested in music are prevented from experiencing this music in its fullest and most natural environment as they're deemed too young. Luckily for me I got by alright thanks to dubstep leniency :D . It annoys me though if people use age as an advertising strategy to get people to listen to music, as it's going to make people listen to it from a different perspective. Blizzard - your tunes are good man and I like them but I really think you should stop trying to draw attention to your age and just get on with things like everybody else.

good point

But that doesn't change my opinion. I still hate complaints more-the-less.
