Switching songs is one for me. All the old school tunes give me blood rushes. If you cop Axiom EP then you will know actually how good it is.

played it to 1girl last night and thats exactly what she said.

liked his flow but said there was no hook to grab her attention (or not enough of them) which made his rapping seem a bit relentles.

shes not a grime fan so i know its not realy aimed at her, but she is into her music so interesting to hear the point of view of an "outsider".

He wrecks up all the dubstep beats, would love to see him and bass clef do Boi Dem live :P:

edit: BIG mixtape, this and soulfood vol. 1 are nuts

agree with u on the hooks thing - 2 wordy (ghetto has got the same problem @ times).
on da bold bit, i disagree with you on that 1 cos im feeling that beat - da concept fits in well IMO

but yeh this was 1 of da best releases in grime this year

I gotta disagree, I love some of the hooks.

Easily one of the best releases this year. Can't wait for Born Blessed and Durrty Whirl 2. I just hope he can maintain the quality.

Also, anyone know what the first track on Switching Songs is, with the really sugary vocal?

Definitely a killer EP. I've been dropping tunes off this one for awhile now and been getting great responses. Goodz proved he has the potential to become one of the best in the game. Now it's just that tricky matter of getting a dope full LP together.

The hook on "Weather man" is crazy

The "Axiom EP" is the best thing to come out this year IMO

Durrty's flow and content is crazy!!

Nice article, I'd like to see what he has to say about his creative process, what he thinks about dubstep etc. etc. as well as the jail/major labels thing though.

cool. i will have some stuff to ask him for when his album comes out then..

actually we did chat about dubstep for a bit.. he generally is of the opinion that some of it is good.. which isn't massively interesting lol. i will press the issue if i speak to him again.

if u didn't already know, he got hold of the dubstep tracks on axiom just cos him and his manager went into uptown and bought a bunch of 12s to vocal.. that's how the peverelist track got mislabelled we think.

new album is going to be much more tailor-made beats apparently.
