was a massive night. went on my own in the end but was cool cos i saw some gal i met b4..
huge sets and overall good vibes apart from some stupidness.
noticed abit of attitude creeping into events recently which needs to be cut out.
out to everyone who went, didnt meet any forum heads. big up the guy who stepped on my foot and then bought me a beer..lol.

Well am still feeling very much worse for wear and have the ‘gangster for life’ hook still playing in my head
Didn’t arrive at DMZ till 1am and was gutted to have missed both Matty G and Tes La Rock’s & Clouds sets. Took it for granted that they would be playing later sets and so got a bit too comfortable in the pub beforehand. Ended up missing the last train going from Oxford Circus and so had jump on the bus.
Was met with further disappointment at the bar to find out that they no longer sell Dragon Stout!
Still I had a good night. DMZ and Loefah represented lovely as usual
Always good to hear a set from Skream
Really enjoyed Distance’s set
Dave Q surprised me but I should’ve realised that Joe Nice’s friends don’t fuck about either!
He came out to Mobb Deep’s ‘Survival of the Fittest’ which got the thumbs up from me as someone whose first love is Hip Hop. Could see some other heads mouthing along the words also. However he then followed up with a couple of garagey tunes and could see a load of people take that as a cue for their exit. Glad I hung about as his set definitely built into some seriously heavy duty bass action which he managed to sustain. Despite a dodgy needle he kept the people steppin’ on the dance floor till the lights came on. As Boomnoise said he finished his stellar set with a beauty of a tune from Gyptian.
Anyway respect due to all those involved with putting together another memorable DMZ and being able to 'maintain through the madness'

Aside from the silly twats who want to spoil it for everyone - Bad luck on Stantonsweeper and PK for being the unlucky ones - This was a jolly good night.
The sound was good. The variety of music was excellent - great to hear DJ's showcasing the breath of sounds within the scene.
Missed Cotti (Effra extra time oops). But Dead-O & Tes played really great sets for me...Dead-O, King of the special, playing his wicked Too Much special was great...but nothing could really top the Kalwanji Vs Light Up Your Spliff version.....OH MY DAYS!!! Too sick. And that was made exclusive for him, pre The Others! Recognise!!!
Tes smashed it with some great tunes...but finallly great to hear Goldfinger's excellent refix of Renegade - Terrorist...at DMZ...OVER LARGE!!!! Nick Argon and Matty G repped the West Coast hard!
Mystikz, Loe and Skream were heavy, standardly.
Distance was as ace as usual. And soaked up DQ's ambience for the last set...pretty feckin amazing to be honest.
A BIGGG MASSIVE SHOUT TO THE EFFRA CREW. Was a crackin turn out. Raspeck!!!
But the biggest BRAP is due to the BCN family - Moonshine and SubSound...tru souljahs!!! and the nicest blokes. Big up to you!
