FORTIFIED @ ART SCHOOL w/BENGA +ELECTRIC ELIMIMINATORS 9/11

Post by electric eliminator » Tue Oct 23, 2007 7:41 pm

Our next Fortified session brings you a headline set from the man like Benga, who will be previewing tracks from his forthcoming album "Diaries of an Afro Warrior".
A young Benga started messing around with beats with Skream as 13 year olds and together they helped define and shape the dubstep sound into what it is today.
If you haven't heard Benga + Coki's "Night", then basically you have been living under a rock...on mars..
Arguably the biggest dance track this year of any genre, "Night" has been smashing up dancefloors everywhere, getting plays by all the dubstep big boys and dj's as diverse as Andy Weatherall, Giles Peterson and Zane Low, and is normally whistled incessantly by everyone who hears it!

Anyone who caught Benga tearing up the sub club at the start of the year knows this is not to be missed!

Even better...

Benga tore it up at the subby last time, even though he wasn't headlining, so this should be badboy. Especially with the weight of a few extra subs thrown in like the last one.

Especially?

Are you coming, then walking out, and then coming back in again?

By the way, I should be up on the dancefloor with some glo-sticks...
