I'm just about to spend £250 on these:
http://www.dv247.com/invt/40205/
Have used the bigger systems that Blue Sky do and they're wicked.
According to all the reviews i've read their budget/entry level systems are right on point too... much better than any other 2.1 system at this price.
If you can afford a little more... get these:
http://www.dv247.com/invt/22959/
which is what i really want but i simply cant justify the cost as this ain't for my main studio... it's for my flat.
Trust me these moniters are wicked and great to mix on....

Take your money into a shop and LISTEN to them - spending £300 on something because other people on the internet told you they're the best is mental.

I got the Prodipe Pro5's about 3 weeks ago from Andertons (cheaper at the moment than Thomann), I spent 5 hours in the monitor room going through the lot.
I used the Adam A7's as the main reference monitors (as if I was going to spend £550 on a set they would be the ones).
Because Im in a smallish room, the 5" driver is more suitable for me with a seperate sub woofer driving the bottom end. (Tapco SW10 £100)
So total is about £280 for that set up which obviously I think is great without spending loads of cash.
