Hey, I'm listening to various bits and bobs and then commenting. There's some talent on here.

:) Post some of your stuff, Festa - I'll be glad to take a listen.

Cheers.

sounds good, maybe unfinished? i'd like to hear where this goes.

everything sounds "in place", drums hit and bass is warm.

Thanks, somejerk!

Yeah, it's not completely there yet. I was just sending out some feelers to see if people dig it or not.

Doesn't look too good thus far, does it? Maybe it needs to be more badmanwobbly?

The low end is warm because its all going through some secret hardware. I'm going to add a few more pattern variations, some dubby delays and some found sounds and field recording stuff. Maybe even some vocals.

Thanks!

Anybody else, or is this it?

;)

nice one low res, definately get this one finished, wicked tune!

for what its worth:

some real nice subtle build ups, really liked the sort of plucked sound that comes in at 0.54 goes well with the stepper feel, liked the bassline but seemed a bit like it was building to something that didn't appear maybe, if you see what i mean? Maybe a variation on bassline the second chorus/main part, strengthen it with eq boost 60+120hz for a bit more punch/ little less sustain? Only thing i really thought was out of place was the snare fill at 0.53/ 2.13, maybe a stuttered break/ couple of kick and a stretched snare might fit - just a thought mate.

be watching this space for 320s innit

Whoo hoo! Somebody listened!

:)

8bit - Cheers. I'm working on it. Film vocals? nah. Maybe some real vocals, if I can be arsed. :)

JD - Beetlejuice Heh heh. It has a Beetle kind of swing to it and the Marimbas add to that feel, I think.

Vendetta - Cheers! Nice constructive crit. I'm going to fanny about with the Bass line a bit to add some variation. I like your snare fill alternative - I'll mess with it a bit. I'll dick around with EQ a bit after I've mixed it - I've not even bothered compressing tracks, yet. :)

My new version goes into a little more hectic territory. I'll try and put it up today. I've got to sort a myspace page out for it.

Cheers all.

some subtle variation on the hats maybe?
love the part where the organ comes with those other playful sounds
sub sounding good
the part with the marimbas could maybe use some gentle layering.

nice vibe

I finished it up, because I'm all bored with it and don't want my boredom to kill the music.... Onto something new...

:)

It gets a little more jumpy in the second drop.

I've taken some suggestions onboard and added some new bits and pieces. Some things didn't work, so they're still as they are.

:)

If anybody wants any 320s, PM me. If not, don't.

Liking the vibe, cool shuffle to it.
Can definitely can hear the Beetlejuice/Tim Burton connection.
Like the sound selection.
