glad a few of us split from the pre-party crew and went straight to dirty canvas instead! sounds like an awful time at fwd.

but out to stanton for hosting the pre-party, boomnoise, incyde, hopper, reso... d.three at the bus stop... and couple other people i met there. community vibes! anyone not in attendance missed boomnoise throwing some DIRE STRAITS on the decks!!

Managed to get in early n saw Youngst play a wicked set then moved to Room 2 saw Apleblim, Kode 9 n Distance all play gd sets - real shame bout the system fuckin up all through Distance.

Bar was a wank idea n shame it closed at three but was nice to burn while listenin to the dubs - House Party only from now on...

boyyyy, i was on the 2 for £5 wine specials from the off licence across the road from stanton's - i apparently saw trim but have absolutely no recollection of it, or any of the other grime sets!! out to all the drunken memory loss cru WTF. tho i do remember a bit later, these totally bomb female vocalists that T2 brought with him from north - they had the energy! brought bare vibes, they were jokers. still wish i remembered trim tho.

yea was at the party, i look like: a girl. got there maybe only a half hour before everyone left.

even if there was a sign it obviously didn't work anyway

only signs i saw were by the queueing areas, and inside they had the rinse fm banners, one of which now resides on the wall of my room :D

Glad everyone enjoyed beers&bass round mine before hand! Best part of the night for me for sure! Shame we had to scarper down to FWD so early only to be greeted with nothing but a massive queue that wasn't moving anywhere! An utter disgrace in my opinion, unless there's an absolutely killer line up at Plastic People in future I shall be spending my Friday nights elsewhere.

Anyhoooo... Big up to everyone who reached High Tea, an absolutely splendid bunch of chaps/chapesses. Good tunes, good vibes and good manners, what host could ask for more. We must do it again soon. Thanks for coming.

I'm afraid I was rather slack and didn't provide any snacks, perhaps next time I'll do pineapple and cheese cubes on cocktail sticks.

I'm from Grimsby actually, which is similar to the shitty inner-city depressed bits of Scotland but without the interesting accents or media cachet.

That would be a secret, but if you drag your lazy ass down to the next high tea you'll get to meet her. I'll ask her to bring some friends too.

Congratulations on the Gold Medal!
