hey,
i bought spectrasonics trilogy a few years ago, probably the illest bass synth iv ever played with. just got the intel mac update off their website (which i get well happy bout), but my macbook or logic cant handle it.
so, basically i wanna convert the trilogy library into wav files and use them in kontakt or something similar.
any ideas on how you'd extract/convert a 3 gb .DAT file??
iv googled it etc etc and still have no idea how to do it. got the idea off someone who do it on another forum, so i know that is possible somehow!!
iv got a pc and a mac so if anyone has any tips on either platform would be much appreciated
safe

I doubt there's anyone program that would just convert the files to wavs. You may be able to open the files though with something like winrar or similar programs and extract the contents although I doubt they are just all sitting in there as .wavs.
Spectrasonics apparently are going to be making some announcements at winter namm and have already said they will have proper intel mac support in the future, so it may be best to just hang on.
