I hear you're working on the Chapel at Avalon - I hope Cliff can make it happen...but if that doesn't work out, maybe a Brooklyn venue would be more amenable? A friend of mine suggested The Hook in Red Hook, B'klyn:

Otherwise, wherever it is I'm there. It could be in Dave Q's apartment for all I care!

******EDITED . Keeping in line with our new forum structure, i'm going to merge/edit/delete some of the SIX!!....dubwar 5 threads into two threads, one to events and one to the main dubstep forum. all the positivity and vibes were scattered in three different forums, so some major editing was needed. please understand. cheers. 8)

There's a clue on the Rothko website:
Thu April 20 - BLUES TRAVELER
Doors 10 PM, SOLD OUT

And I am told it was shut down due to capacity issues.

I always thought he had a vest for fishing lures, just to seem more hick.

That shit is a fully loaded harmonica vest.

dq wrote:JUST SO EVERYBODY KNOWS, IT LOOKS LIKE WE'RE GOING TO HAVE THE EVENT IN THE CHAPEL AT AVALON. I'M AWAITING THE FINAL CONFIRMATION, BUT THAT'S THE LATEST.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE, THE SOUNDSYSTEM IN THERE IS VERY WEIGHTY. IT'S LITERALLY A GOTHIC CATHEDRAL WITH ARCHED CEILING AND EVERYTHING.

THE SUCKY THING IS THAT AVALON IS LIKE A MEGA CLUB, SO THE CLIENTELLE IN THE MAIN SPACE IS KINDA CHEESE!

HEY, I'LL TAKE IT IF THAT'S WHERE WE'RE AT. I'LL POST UP AS SOON AS I HEAR THE FINAL WORD!

THANKS AGAIN EVERYBODY FOR THE WORDS OF SUPPORT.
