had the samson resolv 50A for nearly two weeks now and today they got a really high pitched buzz coming from them, i havnt abused them at all because the scottish twat above me obviously does not an english boy moving in underneath him and killing him with bass all the time, pussy. Anyone got ideas why its started doing it/ causing it?? much appreciated.

maybe a ground problem. get a ground lift and use it on your mixer...

shiit, well i dont use a mixer there just straight into my soundcard on my pc, its weird coz after i posted this thread i played some tunes, did a bit of work on one and it went away, i think it may be from my pc end but not sure, thanks for the reply thou.

this may sound silly but check there aint any metal ends of the cables touching the pc case coz one time i had a funny high pitched buss for ages i worked out it was my pc speakers i took out 2 connect my new ones so check nuffink metal is touching ur pc case

anything firewire going on? heard a bunch recently about some weird sound issues w/ firewire cables.

also-- any power cables crossing your audio cables? the more apart you can keep power and audio cabling, the better--and if they've gotta cross, crossing at 90 degrees is the best solution.

right thanks to everyone who replied, its weird because the buzzing has gone now, i could probably do with a re-jig of cables etc because i have a surge protected extension lead about 2 inches away from the back of my computer. Will see what happens thou, cheers guys.
