the mixing is poor, im sorry but radio shows have much better mixing than this, all the tracks are massive, but theres no depth to the mix, no real thought in how the mix progresses. IMHO its not half as good as i thought it would be. Disapointed because i really wanted this to be banging.

My thoughts exactly. It is basically all over the place, seemed to be no thought put behind the mix.

Heavy tunes though!

According to Caspa and Rusko there was no thought behind it. It is purely a set from the selection of records they had in their bags from the previous nights. Dirt, grits, fibres...all of it.

The effect is actually the exact opposite...

marg, they made an album that imo wasnt very good, but big up caspa and rusko for getting on the fabric lives only a very select few of the djing world have got on there i mean wat we talking 45 maximum with all the B2B sets or wateva, so this is pretty big really, fine they just made it on the spot, but well done for pushing this music out there, peace

Yea that is nice and all for a free download but...if it's being sold (and representing some big mix series), there should be thought? no?

Its what you get if you went and saw them for an hour, it is fabricLIVE after all..

If they put thought behind it then might aswell use something like acid to mix the tunes on the perfect beats etc

It was exactly what i would expect from capsa and rusko. There tracks are huge, but I know when I spin vinyl, I just pick what I feel like hearing and What i think would sound good. That is exactly what it sounds like they did. IMO, I htink the mix is mediocre (sp). I have been listenin to it because I love the tracks they play, but it is just that.... tracks streamed together. No high points no low points, very 2-dimensional. Im not knocking the mix, just saying its doesnt really "take you on a ride" Still good though. Hope you all love my "on the fence" remarks.
