Haha unlucky Ben.
Orson was heavy in rm 2 - overtime bizniz. DMZ smashed it though, proper meditation time a little bit like the old 3rd base days, especially the first half hour. Pure selection!

toilet attendants. now this happened at last dmz and it happened last night. toilet attendant ASKED me for a tip. for what? handing me a paper towel? would u like a medal and parade to honour your achievement while we're all here? fuck off, i can wipe my own hands. wipe my arse and i'll consider purchasing a 400% mark-up lollipop off you.

amen!! i hate the whole concept of toilet attendants, i'm not 2 so i'm perfectly capable of washing my hands independently, its bare awkward when the man is just standing there expecting money off you
fucks sake

absolutely sick night. that was easily the best organised dubstep event i've been to. security doing their job well (out to the skankin bouncer), handed earplugs upon entry (standardly required material for the gramp's hifi!!), heavy layout for the club and a wicked outdoor area.
as elementalism said, the bass was reedeequelous, felt so warm and fuzzy inside. like a baby in the womb, foetal brockout.
mala and coki were as per the best set of the night, pure meditation vibes, there was one tune by mala with a slow buildup and ambient female vocals which was audio bliss (anyone know the name of that one?). the system showed why mystikz bass is second to none, i was actually having trouble breathing through some of those tracks.
room 2 had heavy tunes but i was purely on the bass weight appreciation vibe in room 1 so never really spent extended periods elsewhere.
as grand said a lot of no shows but with bass pressure like that who needs friends.

Well I think the concept is that handing you a piece of paper towel is only a small part of what a toilent attendent does. They're suppose to look after the facilities and make the over all experience more pleasurable than not. So if you tip them, it's not because they handed you something to towel your hands with, it's because they provide toilet facilities that haven't got shit all over them.[/quote]

no, they sit on white plastic garden furniture all night. i've been in toilets MANY times that have attendants and nearly all the cubicles have run out of paper. some toilets are kept clean... dmz toilets are kept alright. those toilets last night were not kept nice. she didn't even do a clean up before she left cos i was in there after she went.
PLUS you don't get normal public toilet cleaners coming up n asking u for tips do u? and they actually DO keep the toilets clean.

I'm still having problems breathing from that bass!! Amazing stuff. Mala and Coki for me as well I think. Was actually feeling exhausted after Benga but they took me right back up to 100%!
(Night was so good it even made me forget about the four pounds for that awful stuff beginning with an F).
If it were written with a needle on the corner of an eye...

The soundsytem was truly heavy. Out to the crew trying to make beer can towers to see them get knocked over by the bass pressure lol
With the lineup that the warehouse party attracted i was expecting queing up before opening hours but arrived early to be one of the first few there. Wasn't as pack up as i fort it'd b either which i rekon was a good thing as it allowed skankout space.
Bouncer were sweeet as fuck and all-Caught me billing a zooty twice and told me theres no need to hide it just dont blaze it inside. Went outside to bun one and a doorman came n sat next to me and didn't bat an eyelid.
Yeah mala and coki's set was firing all cylinders but u know what, every set was banging. Big up chefal playing the sensi dub towards d end ( Which made me very relunctant to go outside n smoke-just wanted to spark up) and that heavyweight breaks tune 'Forget detroit'
All in all a BIGBIGBIG night. Out to the crew asking to get a picture of my t-shirt!

larrrge. the system was pure pressure! was way louder during cyrus b2b distance, im glad it got turned down a bit to be honest, it was nauseating amounts of bass, had to pop outside every 10 mins or something.
all about when mala was mixin that five-o tune, bringin the bass in and out. fucked.
oris jay fucking killed it. purrre skanout riddims. far east & golly gosh sounded baad. orson come with the badboy selection, big him up for playing midnight by loefah!

You should use the guys loos, the one I went into was quite clean, no splashes on the toilet seat. A little liquid on the floor but then id rather it be there then on the seat.

You know it's a big night when people are discussing the finer points of the toilets.
Shit, why didn't I reach this? Good to see the Gramps spreading the pressure. We have been spoiled in Brighton.

You know it, son! I had to leave a tip. Matey had glasses of water waiting for me, he knew the deal!
Sweatbox business! Sweat in your Stella!
What was that proper upbeat dubby track that Mala played a few tunes into his set? Sounded like Lovers Rock or something. Kept loosening my fucking hairband - some deep sea bassweight.
