garage pretty much disappeared from this city a couple of years ago. i've been trying to find like mindeds to start something small, but we're all making the "too busy" excuse.

I agree, San Diego needs some Dubstep too. I've heard a couple peeps talkin bout it, but nuttin yet.

Im down here in san diego but willing to drive up to los angeles.I'm sure something will come soon.It's kinda hard for the DJ's in san diego to get the records to spin dub step and they are sooo dam money hungry that they would'nt even attempt.I'm about the music not the money but i understand we all gotta eat and pay for these crazy fuckin gas prices.

Seconded.
I've spun at a couple of private house parties for friends, and I'm always surprised at the amount of people that come up to me that are into the sound. And they're just as surprised that an actual dubstep/grime DJ exists in LA.
The people are here in the city....just a matter of organization, I'd say.
