I'd like to see someone trying to play live like Underworld do, but then again, that kind of equipment doesn't come cheap.

Wow haven't heard that name in a while, loved their stuff back in the day. They used to put quite a lot of the live improvs on the b-sides of their singles and damn good they were too. Think Darren Emerson's really underrated as a producer
Hmm....

sorry about that fucking glasgow show, i don't travel with a bass or guitar cos i don't have a flight case for mine, it's normally not a problem but the glasgow promoters hadn't hired one for me for that show. the one they got me at the last minute was pretty much unplayable (as you'd have saw), it only arrived when soundcheck was over so i never got to hear how weak it was, the action of the bottom string was about an inch and half! so far away from the pickup it wasn't even audible. i wasn't controlling the mixer levels either, they seemed a bit all over the show when i was starting up. it's depressing cos it leaves me looking like a dickhead.
same thing happened me in brighton a few weeks ago as well, 50 quid bass and completely fucked mixer to run everything through, with no soundcheck cos the actual soundsystem never arrived til the doors had opened.
hopefully do it better next time! thanks for coming out to the gig anyway.

What an encouraging thread this is. Seems everyone is looking forward to the good stuff.
Bass Clef is playing Brighton at the Freebutt on the 22nd of this month by the way, for all those that can make it. 8 - 1am, £4.

surgeon FTW, big list there and so true.
Suddenly, there was a terrible roar all around us, and the sky was full with what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, and a voice was screaming:
Holy Jesus. What are these goddamn animals?

Yes mate, needs more cheeky and less serious/moronic. There is a lot of middle ground which isn't being covered (well, not in dubstep anyway).
Oh and PK to get his tunes out, have some faith in yourself fella, it's exactly what's needed now

Hmm....

Some silly record label picking up a good tune, ruining it by trying to put a vocal on it and then releasing it into the charts?! I can see this happeneing!
