This is a very valid point. Please note that our Lead Engineer Frederik "2000F" of the OHOI camp (and co-owner of MoreMax Studio of Denmark) will be the ears on the winning entries. He will make suggestions on the current mix downs and the artists will be given the opportunity to make corrections before the songs are sent to Transition for mastering.subframe wrote:Can we vote with a 'check yo levels on some real monitors' caveat?
Team PI

Really Tough decision here, between B, C, and E
- B would have been first choice had there been a strong kick+snare. The percussion track is wicked but I kept waiting for the full beat to drop. Love the feel of this track.
C is what I picked because the rhythm is good for de dance floor, would be nice to hear some subtle(ie not loud) minor chord vibes in this beat to contrast with the ill beats and bass.
E would have been the next choice as I'm lovin that break, but the bass a bit too conservative for me.

i have to dissent.King_Hater wrote:I thought this too. I prefer the AA over the A, no question... all 5 tunes on the AA are better, IMo... not to slight the others, but damn.. clearly the best 2 tunes aren't winning here and that is a damn shame. I know that the producers of these tunes are going to have their friends vote for their tune, etc... and a few of them are blatantly obvious who they are. Sucks because someone is going to miss out on an opportunity because of favoritism, which is why there really must be another way...cody wrote:only 2 tracks thru on this side and already feelin them much more than the other side. think i know who both come from. can a has a bait sample at the beginning which tells you what camp this tune is comin from even if not the exact person...
look at the voting... the first tune on both of the sides that is post is the one that everyone votes for... look at the numbers, anyone who knows about polling knows that if you phrase something a certain way, or the name on top of the ballot gets the most votes. clearly not the best tunes winning.
on what material basis are you suggesting that the leading producers are getting their friends to vote? This is simply mindless inuendo and you are really clutching at straws here because you are making some fairly serious accusations without providing the thread with any concrete evidence to support your claims.
stop sooking because the tune you liked is not winning, the tunes that are winning are not winning because they have more friends, they are winning because people have voted for them.
You have no material basis for your claims so essentially what you are saying is a mindless despotic attempt at forwarding your opinion of what track you think should win this competition. Please come back to us with some concrete agruments as to why you think the said tracks dont warrant the majority support they are currently enjoying.
Until you do this your petty argumentative cretanism is completely irrelavant and is mearly an immature attampt at discrediting the democratically voted leaders in this competition.
get over it, the tunes you voted for are not winning.
