If these coats were made out of fur from animals who died from natural causes/accident i.e, disease/hit by car OR they were farmed (cattle, horse, goat) then I guess thats ok as the animal isnt going to waste...

But you dont farm minks, or gorillas, or even foxes...

Holy Jesus. What are these goddamn animals?

Depends what you're eating

Personally, I would slay a thousand huskies to clothe Darren from Hollyoaks for a week

i don't think its that people don't give a fuck, its just a lot of people (dunno whether rightly or wrongly) see those people that protest in the street as over the top or slightly ridiculous, and don't take them seriously, chances are if you look in the right places you'll find a lot of people do actually care about this stuff clue

But the thing is it wasnt even a proper protest like youd imagine. It was very peaceful, the only people being abusive were certain of the passers by.

Mate, there was a woman in Manchester with a FREE HUGS sign round hew neck....wonder where they get that stereotype.

I do love a noise ware between the Reading the bible peeps and animal activists down the square though.

i'm cool with animal hide taken from animals that were killed for meat anyway... cos why waste it?

and also vintage fur... it's been dead a long time so buying it, second hand, isn't fuelling the fur trade. only the initial purchase back in day did that.

not cool with bloodsport tho. don't mind culling foxes (granny's a farmer... it's not as simple as the protesters make out) but the whole ceremony with the red coats and horses and dogs is uneccessary and sick.

From what I can remember, leather isn't taken from the same type of cattle as dairy and beef are taken from.
Hmm....

not sure about my stance on fur... i know what your saying though aurorah..
if im against that then i got to really be against any trade that breeds animals to slaughter them for our satisfaction.

and to be honest i am quite partial to the odd bit of KFC, and Mc Donalds.. who knows just how many countless animals have died.. this subject treads on thin ice.

Same bruv i like meat as well.its just with the fur thing if u researched it they kill the animal just for its fur and waste the corpse.some people even rock fur from animals which are endagerd like polar bear and snow cats.

The thing is theres no need for it anymore.
