Is it just me or is this 4X4 bass question slowly taking over from the mighty wobble?

People are more interested in jumping on the Bassline bandwagon than on Dubstep now.

Dubstep is dying. And it's all your fault.

Try a couple of detuned squares or triangles, use the filter if you want them to wobble. Adjust the filter to start with key triggering. Triangles might be what you are after..

Don't know if that's useful on the v-station tho.

Defintly, its a shame tho as the grime scene has slowly died down.

Look out for the hard four Tho.

Thats it - Its all on the attack and filer! Also on v-station a lot of bass's on there have the filter assigned to the velocity. So play with your velocity to get that tight womp!

that's the point, you ask very very simple questions, stuff that most people bother to spend the time figuring it out for themselves.

There's little point to writing music if you're just going to ask other people how to do it and then running with what they tell you - it's about discovering how things work for yourself, cos then you actually learn stuff, and you make interesting mistakes along the way which helps you develop your own sound.
