Indeed, a mixture of skunked out peeps and peeps in K holes would not be good...casino addict wrote:Any music is ketamine music - believe. The sound of a kettle boiling sounds like it's been remixed by Jesus when you're in a K-hole.
Personally I think it's an interesting drug. But do it when you're setting at home on the sofa. I'm sure dubstep parties can do without people stumbling around and dribbling like idiots.
Had some great times on K, most memorable being after a party in my flat with some mates listening to Chemical Brother's Dig your own hole album...My friend reckons that is the ulimate K album!! I have to say that Plastikman's Consumed is an ace album to listen to when on K...

Agree completely with all that. Too many people take huge lines of it like coke or mix it with alcohol, have bad experiences (obviously) and then call it dirty and nasty. If you take it with precautions and know what you're doing it's a really interesting drug. Wouldn't want to make a habit of it though, nor would I bother doing it a dubstep night. Stick to the weed for that, perfect music for it IMO, the bass, tempo, atmosphere... takes you somewhere else.elgato wrote:Ket is heavy if done with the right head on. Problem is most people bang it down first time on a cocktail vibe, and ket post-alcohol is not a good idea at all. In a situation in which you feel confortable, it is live. Wouldnt really want it to become too large a part of the dubstep scene though, but then i dont really like too much of a hard drugs culture in clubs generally. But it is a drug well suited to minimal, cavernous atmospheres, so some dubstep is pretty well suited!
On a related note I recorded a mix on ketamine a few weeks ago with any vinyl i could find in the house. Features Richard Clayderman, Luke Eargoggle, Nina Simone, Bad Company, Boards of Canada, Dead Prez... definitely er, original.

just imagine closing your eyes for fifteen minutes.. and in that time spending a few hundred years wondering around some vague memory you might have had..
opening your eyes and then trying to work out which experience is actually real..
so ive heard anyway.

fuc k ...
the effects of anesthetics and your conciousness can be very interesting ..
like if you do enough k that your body is basically asleep but "you" are still awake ..
the stuff your mind goes through ...
anyways .... i personally don't care for it although my closest friend
was very intimite with the ketamine entity ... and i too had become
familiar enough with it to be able to communicate with him through that
while we jammed ...
the way music takes on a "broader personality" and your body feels
quite synthetic ( digital?)for lack of a better term .... is quite cool actually if done in the right setting .. drink and k dont mix ... lol

Fuck ketamine, ketamine dun fucked the tekno scene, too may people walking round like zombies drooling an that and forgetting when their birthday is. Never tried it with dubstep but im pretty much bored of it anyway, if your going to do ket dont do it at a party do it at home with your mates I reckon, or maybe in the morning after a party.
