Post by capsule » Wed Jan 09, 2008 7:59 pm

Remember those days when HipHop was "real"...

Anyway im want to go back in the days and looking for some artist albums to download. Only problem: I ran out of artist...

Im looking for an artist in the category like:

- Camp Lo
- A Tribe Called Quest
- Mos Def
- Talib Kweli

You know what i mean!!!

Does anyone has some other recommendations??

lord finesse, big daddy kane, kool g rap, public enemy, kmd, gangstarr, jeru, bdp, big l, lootpack, pete rock, lords of the underground, smif n wessun.

some of my fave old hip hop.
especially lootpack - soundpieces da antidote and kmd - black bastards. amazing beats on both those albums.

looking for artists on the same label as stuff you like is a good way to find more good music

REAL SHIT!

Well true. Big L on Diamond D beats was a lot.

The Soundbombing Vol.1 and 2 complilations are both incredible. Back when Rawkus Records was untouchable.
