Loefah / Nasty Crew "Lights (SE 25 mix)"

Post by appleblim » Tue Nov 08, 2005 1:42 pm

how big is this?!

absolutely stunning....

heard it LOUD at Subloaded and it floored me.....

anyone know anything about it?

Blackdown i know u had an excloos of it - do Nasty know about it? Do they like it?

bring on the Grime / Dubstep link-up i say....this tune just proves how much these beats are suited to lyrics as well as pure instrumentals...

would be great to hear a proper collabo between these dudes rather than just an acca too.....the potential is mindblowing in my opinion...

btw u can hear this track on the kode 9 b2b jason H mix that is available at the mo....

According to Rossi B it's not coming out, which is a damn shame.

Nooooo, such a wicked track it's on the last loefah kode9 mix....asked Youngsta about it on the weekend he said it was only on dubplate...picked up the original - In the place - I asume this is the tune y'all talkin about "nasty jack up in the place..."? etc...

Rude tune

Brilliant tune! Remember coming out of the loo's singing along when this was dropped at subloaded!

This is the kinda direction that could get more people into the sound, really catchy. So good that the two sides are converging more..

Great tune! Be a real shame if it didn't get a release. Sounds really good going into 28g in the Kode 9 b2b Loefah mix too..

Shouts for the mix, although downloading is slow as anything. Any mirrors?

That beat is big and the MCs deal with it, proper catchy

"It's lights o-o-okaaaay, it's Nasty Jack and Stormin in the place"

Cant wait till we get grime MCs with messages for the youts dem, waiting for the Wu-Tang equivalent in the Grime game, still aint found them. Some people are trying to tell me that Roll Deep are the Wu-Tang mirror image.....erm.......no

Maybe one or two aspects correlate but not enough

How about a Grime Ras Kass or suttin? I swear it's all to come

Different music but same principles.

I think we could well see a Grime equivalent of the Wu-Tang as the culture grows, regardless of what they're going for. Youts are starting to experience similar situations to what the American's did back in the day in their projects.

'The deep get deeper'

Klashnekoff is from London, he lives in the 'Grime'. No one can deny the Wu-Tang in him.

So yes different music but understand modern day Black culture and u can link them up

Lets unite

Stay in the heart

Safe for the info about Loefah's track anyway
