Lol... I see people sayin that Grime is not big outside of London....
So imagine what it is for people like me not even living in the UK..
We had a very little Grimescene here for a while in 2003 till 2005 but after that it died quicktime.. Dubstep is gettin' big here in the Netherlands now and that's good, i spin dubstep myself so that's all good, but besides that I like Grime very much still and it's very hard nowadays to get new tunes since GOOD grimevinyl is hardley being pressed and nice digital instrumentals are... EXTREMELY hard to find..

So if anyone knows ways to get new Grime.. (paid or illegal..lol) Let me know

As far as I'm aware my local grime scene only coexists with the local dubstep scene because a few stnuc got a little weapon-happy. Or I'm just unaware of its being massive.

Toronto had a suprisingly decent grime thing going on for a bit. Steady Merkin' and No Wasteman crew. Nowadays we've got UKC w/ Freeza Chin, Plain English and Riddimz (whos in Manchester right now for school n shit). Over here dubstep and grime are completely entwined now, Subtrac, Dubslingers, and Bassfish all feature grime MCs on the sets throughout the night.

grime is a product of the ghettos of london. white middle class kids whether they be in manchester or fucking texas - who r in limbo before taking on their first "serious" jobs - i personally dont believe can ever genuinely contribute or create a scene which has the same ferocity as grime.

There are poor black people in other parts of the country that make grime. You can't say Virus syndicate aren't as real as any of there Southern counterparts.
I've heard some badman emcees from Leeds way as well.
And easy on the middle class white people bashing- you are on a dubstep forum.
