haha, you can always tell a boothe tune from a mile away, he had a way of elongating words like in Artibella and Silver Words etc
the stuff with the paragons was great too - Only A Smile, The Tide Is High, Wear You To The Ball etc..he has one of the smoothest voices..

you might be able to help me with a tune ID actually...
there's this garage tune (from back when it was called house and garage) which samples a reggae tune that gooooes 'the train is comin baby, the train is comin now, the train is comin baby and i'm leavin on that train'. i've got the tune in a radio set from... a million years ago and i asked the dj of the set about it and he thinks it's tuff jam, but i asked matt jam and he can't remember cos he's made like 5 trillion tunes... and nobody else has ever heard the song... and i can't find the set right now lol. but anyways the question isssss... who's the vocal? it's NOT the ken boothe version. i've got that, doesn't match. do u know of any others?

i wanna get that tune on vinyl, only got it on CD

well hard to find for a decent price though. the gladiators' backing singers are just amazing, best backing singers in any music i've ever heard. i can't believe people buy so many bob marley albums when there's ones by the gladiators around

where does everyone buy their reggae vinyl from online? i'm using heavycrates, ebay and reggae.co.uk mainly but i'm sure people know of other good places. specifically for 7" represses and originals, no 12" business for me thanks

this site is the aladdins cave of reggae..
http://www.ebreggae.com
as delendi said, dub vendor is good too - not ordered from them though personally.
also honest jon's have a good service and sounds of the universe have a good selection of revives etc
and reggae revive - they tend to fish out some og's but quite expensive (more of a collectors shop)
http://www.reggaerevive.com/
i still miss Daddy Kools, that was a great little shop, although the main guy who ran it was proper grumpy
