Akai releases the mpc5000... don't know if you cats are up on this or not yet...

interesting piece.. although.. its defo a risky move for Akai

Hmm, looks a bit 'busy' though. A lot of the buttons seem a bit bunched together. Think I'll stick with my MPD24... though that 80gig drive is tempting.
