Seriously cannot wait for it.. since SONY been hyping it for the last year, before PS3 even made it to UK shores.

oh yeah, and the modding of UT3 is pretty good - no plans for that for the 360 as yet.

The new Loco Roco is more of a downloadable tech demo than a proper sequel and is supposed to be a bit poo really. Which is a shame as the original was brilliant.
The PlayStation store updated today with a ton of new demos, trailers, and a whole new game that Kotaku's Michael McWhertor called "unbearably unenjoyable". That unfettered praise was of course for LocoRoco Cocoreccho!, the butterfly-powered LocoRoco game that is now available on the PSN for $6.99, a low price indeed for possible...suckage.
Little Big Planet does look sick. Def one to watch out for. Only downside to that one from my point of view is i'm not much into customisation/sandbox games.

nah, that is more an interactive screensaver, there should be a proper sequel.

Patapon (by the locoroco people) is psp - i can't remember if it is coming on the ps3 as well.

yeah, patapon is right up my street, love that kinda original game design mixed with artistic visual styles and infectious audio.

haven't heard anything about a ps3 version but it would be ripe for a hi-res ps store download game.

played through most of okami, really liked it but don't love it. the graphics and music were beautiful but i don't rate it as highly as zelda:twilight princess which i'm currently playing through now (i compare the 2 because they both have wolves and okami borrows a lot of its gameplay style from the zelda series).
unfortunately okami will likely never get a sequel/prequel partly bcos it sold all of 10 copies despite being regarded as a materpiece across the board but mostly because clover were disbanded after making it which is a shame as they made nothing but good quality, innovative software. there is however a wii version in production which will be very interesting for the paintbrush techniques. as i never finished it on ps2 i might pick it up again one day on wii.

poor skills pk-- (with a capital hyphen yanar), though i guess it can be allowed bcoz although it was a big deal at the time it was in production there was about a years difference between the release in japan and uk by which point no one really noticed. if you have a ps2 it's definitely worth pickin up as it probably goes for about a score these days and is the closest thing the console has to a zelda game.

for me these are the reasons ps2 is sick:

gitaroo man
ico
shadow of the colossus
any 2d bullet-ballet/shmups like dondonpachi/espgaluda
sfIII 3rd strike (i say lesser known coz loadsa heads never knew bout it for ps2)
coco's curry house
katamari damashii
fatal frame/project zero
siren
mojib ribbon
