I'm going on my own... used to it by now

Hell, it's an adventure
hmm im not sure walking around brixton (or anywhere i guess these days) on my own is a good idea.

I just cant see me ever getting to hit one of these events because of getting heads to go with me. :x
brixton isn't dangerous. especially the area around the tube station. don't miss out on the next one.

yeh i wouldnt worry, the only trouble ive ever had down there was with my own mates

to put it in perspective, i walked straight down brixton to coldharbour lane during the last riots and it was fine, as long as you werent wearing a police uniform.
saw 20 people at a bus stop throwing bins and bricks at a bullywagon rammed with filth, wont forget that

Ha. I can imagine. Bricky's fine. It got a bit dodge after 7/7, cause the police were too busy chasing insurgents and crime went up a bit. There are still a lot worse places though.

Brixton is all jiggy. My neighbours. Tooting (my other neighbours) is where the ruckus is these days. 2 stabbings and 1 shooting in 3 weeks....

yeh but i know stuff can happen anywhere whether its Brixton or Yorkshire dales, to men aswell as women, but catching tubes on my own at night is still dodgy in my book, especially when i dont know where im goin lol.

I hear so many things that happen to women, mainly because they walk home or wherever on their own at night.

Sorry to get all serious ha

yeah but its mostly about your mentality and how you hold yourself. if you're really confident then you'll be ok

For the July one the forum should sort out a meet up near the tube for people going solo, especially women, so they can feel safe on the way. Cos you'll definitely feel safe when you're inside.
