I absolutely second all that's been said so far. It's a total listening experience and gets better and better with each listen. Very heavy influence from the old early 90s 'Artificial Intelligence' electronica, big on the Aphex Twin Ambient Works Vol 1 melodies, but also a lot of 4-4 pulse that I reckon will definitely see it played by the sort of techno DJs who took to Shackleton eg Villalobos and co. So so deep.

Thanks for the comments guys, it's really appreciated. We've actually put back the release date a bit, so it's going to be April now. There's going to be a 12" before of two tracks off the album - Hard Boiled and Tell Her.

can't wait for some scuba-duba action.
Suddenly, there was a terrible roar all around us, and the sky was full with what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, and a voice was screaming:
Holy Jesus. What are these goddamn animals?

Totally.

Plus maybe a smidgeon of early 90s autechre. Reminds me of their Amber album.

this is exactly what's struck me - the palette of sounds and the soundstage as well. It makes it one of the most 'complete' dubstep LPs that's been released so far, although to call it dubstep perhaps does it a disservice - it's just as much tetchno or 'electronica'.

Please stop trying to label and compare it, you're making me not want to hear it :P

Nah, serious, I'm really looking forward to it, Scuba is probably (besides Geiom) the most capable dubstep artist to make a solid album naturally, not just for the sake of it.

Do we already know which format it will be coming in? CD + LP? CD + 12" Sampler? CD only? (hope not)

If 'Hard Boiled' is anything to go by it ought to be incredible. Hearing that tune for the first time :o
