I guess the BS is not sufficient, or not completely, and subs only do not make the dirty basslines

you definately need more osc's, synced lfo's, multitimbrality and probably FM techniques...

so consider buying an access virus or sumthing like it.

I use an old Akai 3000XL Sampler and an Emu Orbit V2 Sound Module along side Reason V4.

I sample patches off the Orbit using the Akai and import them into Reason and play around with them in there.

Nice to get a mix of the old and the modern.

Hollywood - that sounds like a unique set up. It might be hard to tackle the tech aspect of the music though... I come from a Hip-hop and reggae background and I gotta say... if reggae production is Algebra then Dubstep production is like Trig3
I'd definitely like to hear what you come up with though... In the end its all about the vibes (it's better to be low-tech and fresh than to be a wobble clone)

I'm using it less and less.

I just put this:

in its case and slipped it under the bed. I think that symbolizes the end of hardware for me, apart from one or two pieces.

I never thought it would come to this.
