Alright mate, Infinite records have just started stocking, and hedonizm stocks a fair bit too. Rounders has still got the largest section in however...

Yeah most of them are just dnb heads so they didn't have a monkeys first time round. The guy who runs it though is a fair bit more knowledgeable

Thought I'd bump this as the forum has grown so much.
Any more Brighton based peeps want to be added to the ikkle mailing list we got going?
I reckon a easter weekend daytime drink is in order, less bass more speaking!

ez etch, the night I had planned is on the back burner at the moment - my life has been quite stressful for quite sometime as it is! Besides the Dubpressure and Juju boys are doing a good job on the dubstep front at the moment.
PM me your e-mail addy though and I'll add you into the little e-mail ring thats going.
$hy - will do. Those beats you sent earlier are v. sweet, a CD with more on would be very nice!

Hi, yep me Brighton based, etc. Can't mix for shite, but have somehow managed to play some dubstep along with my usual eclectic schtick with Bust the Box on occassions over the last few years. Doing some productions (see soundclick address) and would like to be included on any mail-outs.
Bit skint for the next couple of weeks, but last week of May should be handy if anyone's about.
Hmm....

Last time I looked in Rounder it had about 3 old dubstep 12's (that were at least 12-18 months old). This was about 3 months ago..
Is it sorted out in there now then?

Rounder's selection not really improved much I don't think.
Mans at Edgeworld are pretty enthusiastic about the sound so you should start seeing more in there.
Mystikz and Amit down the Volks nex Friday...

I've been in Rounders and got shedloads before, and other times found nothing. Sporadic but can be good.
Edgeworld -haven't been in there in ages, far too expensive in the past
Hedonizm - Sometimes stock some dubstep
Infinite Records - Getting on the case now...

@kion
i work there (Rounder)and i order every dubstep tune im offered... all depends on the distribution co's that sell them really... so yeh it can be sporadic...

Fair play to Rounder actually, they were stocking dubstep first to my knowledge in Brighton, even going back to early tempa, shelf life and ghost stuff - if they're small distributors they're ordering from, it might take a little while to get the minimum order through, which I think explains the sporadic racks full/racks empty conundrum.
Edgeworld usually very good, even got their own section now. Think Covert might be looking into getting some stuff in if the demands there.
Hmm....
