Look at those "celebrity" endorsements...

Why dont they just all say "I really didnt care to learn any more about music (or what music im mixing), so I moved onto this..."

I mean, this is a product that is attempting to make it faster to dj, right? Know the keys for all your tracks, and you can just mix and mix, you dont have to know what track goes with another... You still have to determine what key your tracks are in.

Not to mention that this shit is so inaccurately advertised...

Just because you know what "key" something is in, doesnt mean it will mix well with something else in that "key". This is a classic product from djs who never learned any more than the basics about music, or they'd have realized that "mode" is as important when doing this type of mix.

same key does not always equal a good mix.

i can forsee people overusing this and only mixing tunes in the same key (if this software even works that is.) this isn't going to teach people anything imo, i think it will confuse people more than anything.

here we have my C mix, next week look out for my A minor mix, its gonna be a stonker, thanks to everyone that downloaded my E7#9 mix.

sounds like a load of toss. i'll check it out though, might be funny.

Surely your ears can tell if things sound good together, no? Why would people buy software that does that when you have some perfectly good freeware strapped to the side of your head?

Key mixing is gay as fuck. This website is gay as fuck. Just look at the rainbow fucking wheel you need to mix. (watch the youtube video was some more gay music in the background) WHAT THE HELL IS WITH THAT WOMAN DANCING SO STRANGELY. KILL ME NOW I NEED NOT TO BE SEEING THIS CRAP AT 9:40 IN THE MORNING.

I just read a review for this in Remix Magazine.
Here, I just found it online for anyone who is interested. I doubt I would go as far as to use this program but I do like what the article had to say.

if it takes you ten minutes to find out what key a tune is in, this software is not going to save you

Figuring out the key of a new record in the past involved 10 minutes of fiddling around on a piano and then marking the (often-incorrect) key you found on the record label.

Now it takes you 10 minutes of fiddling around on a piano and then marking the (often-incorrect) key you found on the id3 tag.

This is a far cry from beatmatching software. At least that can take the art of mixing to a new level. This crap simply repackages crap thats been done time after time.

who wants in-key-mixes anyway? i mean dubstep is not a genre that you listen to sitting in your living room purling from that audiophile system. it's D-U-B-S-T-E-P, it's supposed to smash bones coming to close to that badman soundsystem. if you hear it in a proper format nobody cares about fucking "in-key"ness. i don't think it's not even necessary when listening to radio mixes and such. when you are some weirdo lounge dj, do what you want. but imho dubstep has way more things to offer, than being mixed in key.
