i can't believe there are whining posts on this thread, the night smacked it, just as good as the last one, if not better

they sorted out the queues, much much better than last year.

djs and mcs were sick all night, no let downs, although kinda wish plasician had been on a bit later but hey....i've only ever seen wiley at fwd vs. rinse nites, he's always so sick, proper see why he's the grandfather or whatever...

too much money? £12? thats such a good price for a night like that, i wouldve paid more, and would again...

as for avoiding it because of grime fans...? shutup! only beef i saw all nite was some weird drunk french guy with a moustache trying to persuade my mate to 'come outside and fight like a man in the street' jokaa ahahah

Spyro's set was jaw dropping.

Enjoyed BBK too: out to Skepta in the Superman t-shirt and hat, standing on the bench that holds the decks and looking 300 feet hight.

LOL @ you man jumping down my throat. Yes, I am a wasteman. I want to be surronded by 17year old 'road man' shouting 'brap brap, shower, nasa, dun know' while im trying to get on with some deeper headhunter vibe, sorrry for that.

Leave grime in the school playground or on your ipod, where it belongs.

Plastician smacked it down i dont know what the fuck that fool is talking about. Very dissapointed that he wasn't in any sort of fancy dress........

Overall a heavy night but definitely too many people acting the fool in there. When Wiley/Skepta came on it was just ridiculous.

It's people like you who spoil whole scenes, drum and bass got plagued with stnuc just like you. Pretentious and stuck in the belief that segregating the scene into tiny little groups and subgenres is going to do it good. Prick.

Night was movin tho still, think I enjoyed the last one more, but for no particular reason really, just preference. It's still like selecting which super model you want to mash. Vibes in there too, maybe not as hype as the last one, but who really cares what anyone else is doing anyway.

The whole night was EXCELLENT.

Vibes were kinda flat through most of the night.

Youngsta killed it, Will, Skepta and Maximum were live.

Spyro had it going OFF in the lounge, big selection of party tunes, classic garage/grime.

Had to leave at 3 due to overdoing it on the beer and weed. What time was Kode 9 and Flow Dan on?

stnuc like me? lol who you talking to duppy, this is an internet forum. you clearly dont know me, I lived on grime. from early this was the only music I would listen to, good times of early flava and deja. now its full of waste 'tryna be' US shit and producers like rebound x bangin out casio keyboard destinys child refixes. and at what point did I talk of scenes splittin? dubstep has been its own ting from the start, its no spin off of grime or anything like that, in fact your chatting shit.. on all levels your post is waste. its people like me that keep scenes alive you dohnut, I go out on a good vibe ting and enjoy music, nothing long. anyway, big up your internet attitude, its doin alot for you.

It was an interesting night, seemed to thin out about 3ish after BBK were on. They ruled to dance really, even if you arent really into their thing, its pretty amazing to see skepta and whiley be treated like rock stars and have the whole mainroom in the plam of their hand.

It wasn't particularly a rude crowd whatsoever and it was hilarious seeing people getting dragged out for skinning up every 10 seconds. If you choose to skin up and smoke it next to an infrared camera they you pretty much deserve a bit of hostility from the bouncers. The smoking queue was a bit of a joke, venues need to sort this out if they want to keep smokers happy.

My favourite set of the night was probably Spyro, he seemed to drop another classic every 16 bars, want to hear more of his sets for sure, I've never seen the second room bounce like that.

Other downsides, far too many rewinds for my liking, but all in all a good night.

he seemed a nice lad too, saw him outside having a ciggy, really humble and was dead chuffed that people were complimenting him on his set but seemed a bit gutted his gig in Holland might have been off the next day because chipmunk lost his passport.

Thought it was a good night.

Though Youngsta is something else..watched his whole set jus leanin on the booth doing some trainspotting haha. Seamless mixing with spot on eq controls, double drops- he's definately one of the most talented DJs I've heard in any scene and always delivers the good. His selection is always quite similar in his sets (and on rinse etc.) but the way he executes his mixes impresses me on another level every time.

I can't really remember much else haha, was a bit messy haha.
Nah all was good. Oneman in the lounge was off it. I really enjoyed Benga's set and his mad hyping. Skream's set was also good- with a top selection. 2LSD is a good look. Missed headhunter tho- wish they had put set times up somewhere.

Think someone else mentioned this but big up Chef for dropping Broken Flower remix in the lounge...pure pure vibes. Beautiful song.

The smoke machines in the end main room are not the one tho- can't see 5 metres in front at worst times and i never been there when its that bad! Out to all the sly bunners tho
