I like to move it (dupstep rmx) - 320's availebel now

Post by selector waxx » Thu Feb 28, 2008 6:30 pm

It's the first dubstep tune i made ever, and because the experts are here, i would like to hear your comment. You can find it on my myspace (the first tune in the row). http://www.myspace.com/selectorwaxx

I am a reggae & dancehall dj who got bitten by the dubstep virus, so i switched styles concerning producing and started with dupstep and dropped dancehall production... The first one is a rmx (to make a easy start) but i'm busy with full own tunes aswell. When they're finished you may find them here.

So, shoot ...

edit 2/03/08: down this tread you find the 320 versions for free use as written in a restrcted creative common licence like here http://mirrors.creativecommons.org/inte ... /be-en.pdf...

yeah im feelin this one... sounds like you been making dubstep for months tbh. theres more midrange and above textures in this move it tune than most a typical dubstep that gets around london but right now theres loads of styles! keep goin man, its decent. ;)

Ok, here are the 320's: http://www.sendspace.com/file/hfjclb

the .rar contains the vocal and the dubbed version in 320 kps, the tracks are registred under a Creative Common licence, but that's only to avoid that someone runs with the credits or release them without my notice (as far as it would be interesting or profitable). Feel free to spread them for free amongst your friends and play it loud!!!!!

Can you re-upload this somewhere?

This file has been deleted. Please contact the uploader and ask them to upload the file again. sendspace is not able to help you in this matter.

wicked mate. Nice first track. For some reason the snares don't float my boat but thats probably just personal taste. It's important that everybody approaches this scene from a different direction I think..so props for laying down your take on it.

the idea is absolutely crazy... :)
the execution is cool too, only i'd alter the vocals somehow, making them "thinner"... and and the bass could do some nice 3/3 wobblemovements, but that's just what i'd do. :)
big up!

Love this tune!

But just wondering, has some kind of mistake been made? I'm pretty sure both the files in the .rar package is _exactly_ the same although one is named "vocal dubstep" and the other one is name "dubbed dubstep". They're actually exactly the same size, down to the last byte, and that's pretty much impossible. And they both have vocals. So what happened to the instrumental version?

The one has more vocals than the other, but both come from the same cubase project, and are exactly as long, just the mix is slightly different on a request of some ppl
