When you think about it, dubstep goes perfectly with hip-hop.

my boy randy mixes straight up hip hop tracks with dubstep and jungle...just need to know the bpms of your tracks...a lot of screw and dirty south stuff blends right in. just look at the dirtystep mixtapes dore and nebulla have done. plenty of people are already doing it.

i mix hip hop into dubstep all the time.

like he said above you gotta know what bpm range you're working with but there are a ton of slower tempo hip hop tracks that mix really well.

hell check out the mix i recorded the other day (link in the sig), i end it with a UGK track. it sounds super dope when you bring in another dubstep track over the hip hop song you've got going cause the sub bass just takes it to the next level.

im doing that now. i agree they work perfectly together.. but ive also had success blending hiphop with electro house stuff like booka shade and m.an.d.y. and also minimal tech-house stuff like deadmau5

i can definitely see it being more of a us-dubstepper thing though.. im currently working on a track with chopped and screwed Big L vocal samples

roots manuva - witness

dead prez - hip hop

hopefully the mc's who will be jumping on the dubstep bandwagon will be of the same calibre or better.

I actually wasn't even thinking of the production end. I was just talking about mixing the two genres together. >_< Btw, any samiyam track is impossible to mix with anything else. It's ridiculous. Except once, with the shitty virtual dj kinda shit I downloaded a demo of, I managed to get samiyam to combine with a screamo band song. :O

I been thinking about some of those old Cypress Hill riffs, downtuned drums, bit of junglist style cutting up and some moving subs underneath it. Doubt it'll be considered dubstep but aiming it at around 110 and 125 tempo wise. Think some low 100's bpm dancehall styles could work pretty nice too.
Hmm....
