They're doing a job man. Even if it "spoils yer fun" it's what they do. It's like going to a subway (eww) and saying to the person at the till:

Fair enough but surely these days police have bigger fish to catch than people having a good time at a 'illegal' rave.

Police make most of their busts on easy stuff. Really obvious drunk shoplifter - nabbed. Bloke caught pissing against a hedge whilst drunk - nabbed. Large selection of people quite possibly on drugs and drawing a lot of attention to themselves - nabbed.

So thus they can get quite an impressive arrest record without actually stopping any big time criminals. It's shit, but the results do speak for themselves

Its proper shit seening as they get the people u say do like minor shoplifts but never catch these murderers and peodofiles etc. And on that note ill say we have a shit police force and government!!!

When we had a new Chief Constable in Hove, he said his three main areas of crime to tackle were graffitti, begging and free parties. Nothing about domestic violence, kiddy fiddlers or gangsters, but then as these all happen behind closed doors, even if the police did have a success nobody would know.

Side note: Fuck the PO PO. Seriously it would be a fucked job and I feel sorry for them. But then ask yourself, 'who'd be a cop'. And the answer you come up with is, 'a complete tnuc'. I think this explains why they are pricks who'll enforce their power for petty shit because its easy.
