DMZ 3rd bday

Post by tiel » Sun Mar 02, 2008 9:25 pm

Probably gonna get hated on for sayin this, but fuck it. Before I say it, it was a killa night. The tunes, the vibes, the ppl. But not...the queue's (outside and in) and the amount of pull-ups. Some disgustingly good mixes were bein dropped, only to get caned EVERY time. Yeh they were good, and ppl were vibin off gettin the pull-ups, but every time???

big night, absolutely shattered. Shame we had to leave at 3, but glad we made the trip. The queue was crazy, so glad we got there for 8.30.

But nice to see no attitude, people were there for music and it showed. No jumping or rushing the queues, found it quite funny how everyone stuck to the path. :D

First and not the last DMZ I'll attend. Shame I missed 3rd bass but i couldn't fell a thing in my legs as I was brocking so hard, feel really sorry for my girl who was constantly being pushed past left right front back all-night, but hey it's all about the beats and the energy was crazy.. she understands. :P

Gutted I missed Kode9 and Plastician, did somone say Thugged Out Bitch remix ?? :o

i did manage to count a string of about 7 rewinds in a row during one set, which i thought was a bit excessive, so i see your point - but fuck it! best to dwell on the good moments

must point out i thought plastician looked very smart in his green jumper and shirt

still cant believe i fell asleep for like 3 of the biggest artists i was lookin 4ward to

i remember rambling on to plastician about a mix of his i had down loaded haha...drunken fool

the beers didnt seem to affect me up until joe nices set....then i was gone...remember attention, and dmz vs mzn, and cokis headbanger when he dropped it...so not a total waste of a journey....

fellasleep on my way from brixton to viccy...ended up in finsbury park...fucking gutted...made me late getting back to viccy as its like 7 stops the wrong way hahaha...hence i missed my coach at 8 and had to wait till half 10 4 next 1 which i had to paay extra 4...should of just blagged the bus driver instead of telling the guy on the desk, so a total of 40 odd quid instead of the original 20 odd i paid

glad i made the trip, even if i fucked it up for myself a bit lol

feelin rough now, after i got home about 5 ish...long trip considering i left the house at half 10 sat morn hungover from friday :P

didnt really meet any 1 off here....stanton in the q and a quick hello to dubluke inside

hopefully get down with some company next time
