Well, I bought mine after I was comfortable with it. Its pretty cheap compared to others so isn't breaking the bank *To* much, if I can afford it sure everyone else can!

Certainly if you can afford a computer to run it on you can afford Fruity, or something even more affordable like Reaper.

Okay, if you can afford to go out in a big city you can afford Reaper - it's about 25 quid ffs.

It's by the guy who made winamp, so at least a bit of pedigree there. The actual pricing structure is free unlimited demo (so you can try it out as much as you want), $50 non-commercial license, $225 commercial license, although the product you get is the same either way.

I've not used it, but a lot of the geeks at KvR rate it (and use it) as a realistic alternative to Cubase and Logic - I think they'll generally admit that there's stuff cubase and logic do better but it's not stuff that 95% of users will ever actually figure out how to use. Looking at the feature list, there aren't many glaring omissions.

If you're torrenting, you can do better.

FL studio is nice and easy to use, but the more I explore other programs, the more I see FL was my "practice girl"

It's just my personal opinion based on my experiences with both FL and other software.

Maybe I'd be more inclined to explain it further if you actually typed your words out like an educated person...

FL was totally the same for me to.
Got comfortable using it, making tracks. Then moved onto somthn better.

Not saying you can't make decent choons in FL.
More meaning other platforms for making music are far more advanced.
While i was on FL, i didn't really learn much.

Just switching to Reason and using that, taught me a ton more.
And basically prepared me for making music in Logic or whatever.

Not saying i'm even good at this point. But i am well on my way, compared to using FL.

If your just gonna get warez, score Reason and Sonar or somthn.
Decide what you like and your comfortable with.
Then buy them IMO
