" 'Ello, is that Professor? Well... I just want to say, ever since I heard your music, I love black people!"

Possibly the greatest opening line for an album ever recorded. Mad Professor is definitely a living legend, and Mighty's sound system is pretty ill... I saw Cause4Concern there a few years back, and sadly the promoters fucked up by booking it the same night as somebody else playing elsewhere in town - I had the place to myself.

BOH!

MAD PRO

Post by foodstampz » Thu Mar 06, 2008 2:37 pm

HE didn't invent dubstep, his dubs are way more advanced than original Jamaican dub, but then you have people right after mad pro like jah warrior and alpha and omega that really mixed heavier electronic dub into their music.
fucking love seeing him live , ive seen him in NYC like ten times , never miss him if you have the opportunity ..

respect .!@

PS. sparkuhl, you sound a little upset, are you feeling down because dubstep is blowing up everywhere and you feel it might get drowned out in slack like drum and bass.??

dont worry , we all feel the same way ..

i saw him perform last nite!

from lover's rock to drum and bass (yes DnB!), he killed it!

looked like he was playing tunes from a 24 track and then delaying and echoing the elements of each song.
kinda like ableton but without a comp.

met him after and shook his hand and whatnot, basically nerding out in a big way...

you're in for a good show!!
