I thought it was Thunder Ridge? The End was always famous for this, no? Plastic People has F1 tho (as does Custard Factory in B'ham) and it's obviously sick.stormfield wrote:heavy heavy heavy... there for sure
End's got a wicked Function One soundsystem
Cheers Henvoy, might have to brave a bus with all the commoners then lol.

Bingo. Not a massive fan of Thunder Ridge, even though they are (were) Bristolians.[b]racket wrote:It is Thunder Ridge.ThinKing wrote:I thought it was Thunder Ridge? The End was always famous for this, no?
I have always found the End system a little too much on the ears.
That said, the system in the End is pretty damn good, provided you wear earplugs to take the edge off. I remember going to some old DnB parties (Hardware 3rd B'day party anyone?) where it was sounding pretty damn firin.
zinc was down to do a breakbeat garage set but was taken off for some reason...Mr. Messer wrote:dont think ive ever been so excited about a night.

That grime launch party was quality. No one knew how to dance for the first hour and a half then everyone just seemed to try their own thing! If you stood on the stairs and looked down the dancefloor looked like a perpertual car crash...very fresh after dnb's syncronised 'nodding dog' crowds.DJ $hy wrote:OMG did anyine go to the Grime launch party??
