4 years ago, who thought 40 djs would take over Ministry of Sound?...

This is a massive move for dubstep!! Biggest Dubstep event to date?... What do you rekon?

(thought it'd be good to start a thread of discussion on this, rather than whack it into the Events Forum)

im DEFINATELY goin to this lol. should be interesting, sumin new, bein at mainstage places like ministry.

that said i hope the bouncers aint stnuc on the night, ministry is a bait clubbers venue aswell, but should be ok.

between the 40 artists, there should be almost every dub cut to date

quality way to here all ends of the spectrum, and a nice show casing event for me to take a few mates to a dubstep rave for their first time.

dunno if it will be the biggest/best night but has the potential to be.

Amazing line up and all that, but ....
don't you think the vibe gets a bit spoiled when there's so many DJs trying to perform in one night? I mean, that main room has 21 DJs playing in 8 hrs - giving each DJ an average of less than 23 minutes to do their set.
I often found this the case at dnb gigs anyway, and is the reason why I've avoided going to FWD at the end. The night ends up being so broken up by DJ changeovers, the customary rewinds for their first and last tunes, and the repetition of Night being played 1o times in one evening.

Urgh, Ministry Of Sound.

Watch out for water bombs from Aphex Twin and his mates when you're queuing up for this. I remember reading that when the queue to MoS is long enough, he can comfortably pelt it with water balloons from his apartment window.
