"lookin' on my face but man you don't wanna see man when me get evil then! Then, then, then, then, you don't wanna see me get evil. Evil. Evil. Evil."
My fav part, lyrics are fuckin', well yeah... Evil.
Also check out "Stampin' - Poison Rhythm" by The Bug and Flow Dan, if you like Skeng you'll love it.

badman really (would not fake?)
I hear 'badman real a nuh fake'.

As in 'a badman is real and not fake'.

Ahh... subjectivity in lyrics and meaning... s'like being back in Aesthetics class.

cos people are understandably quite touchy about that kind of thing atm and I don't agree with it myself anyway - would rather play records with a sentiment I can stand by.

not saying it's a bad record, or that people can't say what they like or anything, just a personal rule.

Because I keep getting into arguments with people about homophobic content in lyrics and I'd rather not get myself into another one. However...

I think it's perfectly understandable that people would not wish to play out tunes that have bigoted content. I've got a copy of Log On (Horsepower remix) but I'm not going to play the 'Step on chi chi' mix out anywhere as it's quite probable that I'd a)give people the impression that I'm a homophobe and b)offend people. The distribution of bigotry is if not bigotry itself then exceedingly close to bigotry and by playing things out you are by definition distributing them.

its a sick track and I still go nuts when it comes on

but I work with kids for a living who love these kinda lyrics, these kinda mcs are their dons, and it makes me fuckin sick when I see 15 year old good clever kids get on the mic with me on the buttons and them come out with copy cat lyrics.. because I see what happens when they have to live up to it and its not pretty.

there is a serious point though, although its really important to note musicians/artists need to say what they wanna say..

but still so many double standards in the scene about this.

what really pisses me off is half these guys chatting about guns/killing come out and do a big poppy anti guns track, firmly on their high horse, and everyone is like "nah its cool"

its clearly a song about eating a spicy curry, explaining the lyric "bumfire bumfire bum"

To be fair if he is both killing a sodomite (a gay) and a wife (presumably a partner in a traditional heterosexual marriage) then he's an equal opportunities type of guy.

Lol.
Each time I play this the lyrics sound different so its like listening to a new song tune each time, almost. Love the fact that Flo dan spits over dubstep though, have always liked his style and I don't think many grime MCs could get away with mc'in over dubstep and it still sounding good. Big up Flo dan!

i'm 99.99999999% sure he's saying 'take away your son, might take away your wife'.

Yes, I'm also fairly sure the line that Stanton is suggesting is nothing like what he's actually saying.

Still, would add an element of humour with all this knife/hearse business.

when people here the track they are appreciating the flow rather than the lyrical content i think. is the duality of man.
