j-tek recordings reviving jungle w/ slower tempo....

Post by fever » Wed Mar 19, 2008 2:54 am

have any of u checked out the podcast from dnba featuring Randall doing a special set featuring forthcoming tracks from j-tek records?? Its dope! The first thing u will notice it has a more 4/4 / kinda dubsteppy sound to it and they are bringing back the old jungle techno sound w/ a 140 bpm or any tempo for that matter and are really doing some amazing stuff! the stuff they are releasing can be mixed with dubstep, house, techno, or just about anything. Anywho, check this out:

I've downloaded it, but not had a chance to check it yet. I'm a humungus jungle fanatic though, so I'm looking forward to hearing the tempo knocked down again to create some groove.

Definitely an interesting concept, still haven't checked their stuff properly.

And Lennie De Ice is playing at their launch party! :o

It's a perfect time for its revival!
Big up to the whole J-tek crew, lookin forward to their wicked releases (especially Outrage & Digital - Made In England, killer tune!)

The mix takes me back to Ratty's & Seduction's Fantazia mixtapes
