i dunno, i upload tunes all the time to the myspace player and they sound "okay", the bass is there. i think any reduction of sound quality is usually in the higher frequencies, which is how mp3 compression works as far as in know.

in terms of hearing a tune on a system, my studio monitors have excellent bass response.

any how, i'll take a 320, i'd love to be proved wrong with a dope tune!
