First dubstep tune...
Hi all, long time lurker, noob poster here. I've been following the sound for a long time (all the way back to the first Tempa 12"s) and I've been producing even longer than that but never actually finished a dubstep tune until now.
You can check it out at www.myspace.com/mnmlkwality and it's called "Enough is too much".
Massive thanks to the man spherix who's been a fountain of wisdom and advice as well this forum and I'm looking forward to becoming more involved all round. Oh, and don't blame Spherix if it's wack!

welcome bro
first thing i'm sure you know already is that giving feedback is crucial here, you will get more if you give more
okay check this out : the beat is seriously dope, and good production quality for sure. what I would definitely do to this beat, is put some release on that sub and make it more like your kick drum rather than sustaining (kinda like you would hear on a peverelist or mala track). maybe soften the snare a bit
all in all, you're continuing australia's record of superb production (with me anyway). much respect. if you stay in the dubstep business, i can see you doing big things soon.
spherix is definitely one of my favorite producers (and shame on him for taking so long to come out with some releases
) and i'm jealous of you for having his influence around!
big big respect
and welcome once again
btw i'm really really digging your other business, i'm totally into the tech side of things. dopety dope dope.

Thanks a million man - I hear you on giving feedback. To be honest with you I've never really had the confidence to get on here and speak up - dubstep is such a vast beast I've always felt out of my depth. It was only once I found out how much good stuff was coming out of Oz that I realized it wasn't just a London' ting! And having good 'ol Spherix around doesn't hurt!
Cheers for the feedback man, I'm def gonna have another crack at the details over the weekend. I gotta say, I haven't been this enthused about making music for a long time!

Haha, yeah. Josh did all the hard work on that one! I sent him some parts, next thing I know he's sent me a monster track - I wish it was always that easy! The man's a studio guru. Actually I think I saw you at the Laundry the other night, but I was keeping a low pro, I don't wanna get in peoples faces too much. I'll definately say whatsup next time though. I'm loving that Melbourne heads are so cool with eachother - very different to what I'm used to!

Big up the Melbourne massive!
Love the feel of this track. Listened through crappy laptop speakers first (big mistake) - the bass knocked me out when I popped it on a 2nd time with headphones.
The 'space invaders' around 2.40 are superb
Then that vibey sound comes in.. smashed it for me.
Would love a 320..
