yeah no doubt it'll be great, but they've blatantly scaled down the graphics from the version of the game they used to record the adverts

hopefully they did them on the PC version

Yeah man, some big games planned for the PS3 these coming months.

The one game I can't wait to get my mitts on is Timesplitters 4..! No news on that as of yet, nothing worth shouting about anyway, but can you imagine the online carnage when that comes out.. ohhh garrrsh.

MGS4! dont get me started! can't wait to play that mofo. MGS1 blew me away big time, on the same level as Zelda OOT. i lost many sleep hours to those games

who else stayed up for about three days straight as soon as they got GTA3 though? i think i blagged about a week off school when i first got that game :D

fact is though, i'm still in the dark ages console wise. only have an N64. I'm reluctant to buy a 360, but unless sony stops taking the piss with the price of the PS3, i'll have to get one :x

still no news on the PC version of GTA4 though. can't see them not releasing it for PC though. mods are the way forward, my san andreas is all over the place - turbocharged mopeds and BMXs ftw

YES

there are indeed glitches and lag, depending largely on which server you're on, but its way more fun than the singleplayer mode, you get gangs and different player classes, you can rob any shop, bank, ammunation, nightclub, etc. you can buy houses and shit, all sorts.

the best bit is of course getting a crew together and taking on another crew - WAR!

winding people up on a game by kicking their ass constantly is about the funniest thing you can do on the internet imo

get it on von, you wont regret it!

360 has way more games

Did I say GTA....

PS3

Looking like its a brick in water, not sell os they have to slash prices
Not being easy tpo Dev for compaired to Microsoft who built software for the dev's to build easly!

Just being a lil bit of a techy my heart says go with PS3 cos after time it will be the better console, has to be once dev's start pushing it BUT everyone else says 360, games look mad plus did I say GTA...

Interesting reading your comments tho guys, same as what ppl say to me it seems to be 360 time!

I'll let you know the outcome... ;)
ps3 has 1 core which is the same as 360's 1 core ,but 360 has 3 of them And ps3 has 6 little cpu's linked to the one.
both consoles are 3.2ghz ps3 cpu architecture allows 10% more cpu power when fully utilised.

it's not necessarily all about CPU..... with embedded systems it's really important that the game programs are designed to not rinse the CPU as memory management is a major issue.
A badly written game is gonna run like crap on most CPUs - so i guess it may be better to have more CPU in that case ;) but otherwise i would say go for the well designed games on whatever platform takes your fancy
