Great looking bike!
One day I'm going to have one of these made

And then I'm going to put it on a display and look at it, they are just too beautiful to ride them!

The tricross is great, i've ridden a demo one - solid setup and versatile... can be used for cyclocross and has fittings for panniers. Once i get back from the USA I'll be taking the fucker to Wales for some off road action, see how it compares to the MTB

Have always planned it but never had the time or the cash, which miraculously i now seem to have! Did a 2 week tour of southern Ireland last year which was awesome, definately got me in the mood for more long range trips.metalboxproducts wrote:Hasn't your bike done a very similar thing to what you are doing though?Seem to remember you telling me it did a cross continental think a few years back.

Similar to that above but had two red springs on the front wheel like suspension and it had this other thing at the back above the brake and it was sick. I was able to roll half the way across the small place where I live.

haha, this is true, i did find however when i was younger that after using the brake you would eventually grind down a flat patch on the wheel therefore making it well....not round...and therefore...not a wheelAshley wrote:With the increase in fuel prices its the best way to get around. Did you ever put your feet at the back and lean towards it so you could scoot with no hands?dubluke wrote:haha yeah, tis nice feeling like people are you applauding you everywhere you go thoughAshley wrote:Thats only if you skid!dubluke wrote:haha, this is true, i did find however when i was younger that after using the brake you would eventually grind down a flat patch on the wheel therefore making it well....not round...and therefore...not a wheelAshley wrote:With the increase in fuel prices its the best way to get around.
